BookNotes was a project we developed as part of an elective course on React at the University of Applied Sciences. I worked on this project alongside another student. The goal was to create a React-based website where users could save books, mark them as read, and view ratings on each book's details page.
We styled the application using Tailwind CSS. While we worked side by side, we each focused on different components. Whenever questions or issues came up, we supported each other and collaborated closely to solve them.
TYPESCRIPT, REACT, TAILWIND
React was a completely new framework for us, which made the start of the project quite challenging — especially under time pressure. It took some time to get familiar with the concepts and the structure. Instead of getting stuck, we just kept going, tackled one issue at a time, and gradually things started to make sense. In the end, the effort paid off: the project worked well and we even enjoyed the process.
